Properties: Sulfurflower? Accelerator MBT(M) is a light yellow or off-white powder/granule, bitter in taste, non-toxic, insoluble in water and gasoline, slightly soluble in benzene, easily soluble in ethyl acetate (banana oil), acetone, and soluble in organic solvents such as dichloromethane, diethyl ether, chloroform and alkaline carbonate solutions.
Uses: A general-purpose rubber accelerator, mainly used in rubber products such as tires, rubber shoes, and rubber belts. Due to its bitter taste, it cannot be used in rubber products for food packaging. For applications in rubber products that come into contact with food, please refer to the relevant chapters of FDA and BgVV regulations.
