Properties: Sulfurflower? Accelerator TDEC is a light yellow to yellow powder. Its molecular weight is 721.
Density (20°C): 1.48 g/cm3. The bulk density is 0.32~0.36 g/cm3.
It is soluble in chloroform, benzene and carbon disulfide, slightly soluble in ethanol and gasoline, and insoluble in water.
Uses: This product is a super-vulcanization accelerator for natural rubber and styrene-butadiene rubber. It is usually used in combination with thiazole and sulfenamide accelerators. Since it is non-staining and non-polluting, it can also be used as the main accelerator for continuous vulcanization.
It can be directly added to rubber without causing scorching, has a fast vulcanization speed at vulcanization temperature, and can increase tensile strength and modulus. It is mainly used in the manufacture of airbags (inner tubes, water tubes), extruded hoses, wire and cable insulation layers, rubber fabrics and molded products, etc.
It is not suitable for rubber products that come into contact with food.
