Properties

Solubility: Soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and benzene; sensitive to humidity, easily hydrolyzes when exposed to water to form silanol, which then undergoes condensation and cross-linking.

Stability: Stable at room temperature, easily deteriorates when exposed to moist air, avoid strong acids and strong alkalis.

Reactivity: Non-flammable and easily hydrolyzable.

Applications

1. Silicone resin production: It is an important monomer for synthesizing various high-molecular silicone resin materials, endowing the materials with excellent heat resistance and electrical insulation properties.

2. Inorganic filler treatment: As an inorganic filler surface treatment agent, it improves the dispersibility and compatibility of fillers in plastics, rubber and resins.

3. Pigment dispersion: The treated pigments have good dispersibility and hydrophobicity, which can improve adhesion and coating hardness.

4. Coatings and electronic packaging: Used to produce coatings and paints with better UV resistance and heat resistance. In the field of electronic packaging, due to its low dielectric constant and good heat resistance, it is suitable for signal transmission materials such as 5G millimeter-wave devices.

Packaging/Storage and Transportation

1. Packed in 200L iron drums.

2. Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse, away from fire and heat sources, sealed, protected from light and moisture.

3. Transportation: It is not a Class 3 flammable hazardous chemical and can be transported as ordinary fine chemical general cargo. Protect from rain and keep away from fire sources.
