Silicone Adhesive for Zinc Alloy

Silicone and zinc alloy materials are widely used in various applications. I. Product Introduction:

Shang Hao Jia 801 is a one-component, room-temperature curing, low-whitening nylon metal adhesive. It is suitable for bonding silicone rubber to metal hardware (such as stainless steel, magnets, copper, zinc alloy, nickel-plated metals, etc.), plastic nylon to metal, and metal-to-metal self-adhesion or mutual adhesion. It is particularly effective for bonding stainless steel hardware, plastic to hardware, stainless steel, iron, magnets, nylon, and other materials, offering convenient operation and excellent bonding strength. For difficult-to-bond materials like silicone rubber and nylon, as well as TPE thermoplastic elastomer to metal bonding, using our SP-1 series primer can achieve a bond strength that causes the silicone rubber or thermoplastic elastomer to break before the adhesive fails.

III. Usage Instructions:

1. Wipe the surface of the bonding parts clean; a clean cloth can be used for cleaning.

2. Apply the primer (adhesion promoter) to the silicone rubber or thermoplastic elastomer, PP, or PA surface. Allow it to sit for 1-2 minutes until the primer is completely dry. Then, apply the adhesive to the bonding surface and press the other part firmly for a few seconds.

3. The bonded parts will generally set initially in about 5 minutes. Do not separate or move the bonded parts during this time, as it may affect the bonding strength.

4. The amount of adhesive used should be such that a thin film is formed after bonding. Too little adhesive may result in insufficient strength, while too much may slow down curing and cause significant whitening.

IV. Storage: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area, away from fire and electrical sources. The shelf life is 8 months.
