| 1. Nonionic in alkaline and neutral media, cationic in acidic media. It has excellent emulsifying and leveling properties, is stable to acids, alkalis, and hard water, and can be mixed with other ionic active substances in alkaline and neutral solutions. 2. Used as a leveling agent for wool, hemp, silk, and synthetic fibers. At higher concentrations, it serves as an ideal stripping agent. 3. Functions as a leveling agent for acid complex dyes, reducing the amount of sulfuric acid in the dye bath and minimizing fabric strength damage. 4. Acts as a leveling agent for neutral dyes and vat dyes. 5. Serves as a stripping agent for wool and nylon fabrics, used for stripping and level dyeing of wool, improving fabric appearance. In dyeing and printing with ice dyes, it enhances the fabric's color fastness to rubbing. |
