Uses and Effects:
1、Silane coupling agent KH-560 can be used as an additive or formulated as a primer for coatings, inks, adhesives, and sealants such as polyurethane, silicone, epoxy, phenolic, acrylic, polysulfide, and urea-formaldehyde, to improve the adhesion, corrosion resistance, weather resistance, boiling water resistance, and scrub resistance of resin coatings, extend service life, and enhance the dispersion and bonding of pigments and fillers in the resin phase.
2、This product can be used in polyurethane resin sand casting and resin abrasive tools to improve the bonding strength and water resistance between the resin and silica sand or abrasive materials.
3、Silane coupling agent KH-560 can be used in plastics (PBT, nylon, etc.), rubber, and resins (epoxy, etc.) filled with mineral fillers or glass fibers to improve the dispersion and bonding of fillers and fibers in the resin phase, enhancing the mechanical strength of the products.
4、This product can be used for the surface treatment of inorganic mineral pigments and fillers (such as silica powder), flame retardants (such as magnesium hydroxide), and glass fibers to improve their dispersion, compatibility, bonding strength, and reinforcing effect in the resin phase.
5、The hydrolyzate of silane coupling agent KH-560, used alone or in combination with other components such as zirconium salts, serves as a silanized metal surface treatment solution to seal, protect, and rust-proof metal surfaces, and to improve the adhesion of coatings during subsequent metal spraying. It can replace traditional metal surface treatment solutions like phosphating and passivation solutions, which cause severe environmental pollution.
