Zhejiang Huafang Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd. (formerly Zhejiang Huangyan Sifang Chemical Plant), is a joint-stock enterprise founded in Sept. 1993. Headquarted in the Light & Chemical Industry Investment Area of Huangyan Economic Development Zone in Zhejiang province (the national fine chemical base and the national pharmaceutical production base of China), the company has the following two subsidiaries: Chengdu Entry Technology Development Co., Ltd. and Shandong Changyi Sifang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.. With occupied floor area of over 270mu and total assets of over 150 million RMB, the company now has over 380 employees including 138 engineering technicians. In 2009, our sales revenue will exceed 150 million RMB.

As a High- and New-tech Enterprise in Zhejiang province, the company boasts perfect quality, safety and environmental protection system as well as GMP-standard QA system to ensure the quality of products. In 2008, the company was approved by ISO9001、ISO14001 and OHSAS1800118001. We are armed with 1000t/day sewage treatment station and 360,000m3/day waste gas treatment station.

We have built a joint laboratory and innovative medicines research institute with Zhejiang University, Fudan University, Zhejiang University of Technology. In 2006, our Sifang Chemical Synthesis of Medicine Research Institute was appraised as "Zhejiang Provincial High-tech Research Center", and at present, it has 71 researchers and technicians including 12 professors, 3 doctors and 5 masters. The combination of manufacture, learning and research has laid a solid basis for the sustainable development of the company. And our Cleaner Production and Industrialization Technologies of AE-activated ester was listed as Year 2005 State Level Technological Innovation Funds and Year 2006 State Torch Plan project; The Industrialization of Cefdinir Activated Ester was listed as Year 2007 State Torch Plan project; Aztreonam (new synthesis technoogy) was listed as Year 2007 State-level New Product; AE-activated ester、Cefcapene side chain acid and tolnaftate was appraised as Provincial Level High- and New-tech Products.

With annual production capacity of 1000t, we produce cephalo-type APIs, hypnotic and sedative (zopiclone), antiallergic agent(levocetirizine), antifungal(itraconazole and tolnaftate) etc., which are not only well received in China, but also exported to Europe, the US, Japan and South Korea.
