The protective suit can protect against liquid chemical substances specified in EN TYPE 4 and particulates specified in EN TYPE 5, and is also the choice for workers in potentially flammable and explosive environments.

The protective suit cannot be worn alone for flame retardant protection; it is usually worn over workwear complying with EN533 standard to reduce the risk of burn injury.
