Yinchuan Meikelin Activated Carbon Co., Ltd. was established in 1997 and is located in the beautiful National Economic Development Zone of the New Urban Area of Yinchuan City, Ningxia. The Baotou-Lanzhou Railway runs through Yinchuan from north to south, connecting with major railway lines across the country. Highways provide direct access to coastal ports, and goods can be transported to Central Asia and Europe via the Longhai-Lanxin Railway.

The Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region is one of China's most coal-rich areas, ranking fifth in the nation for coal reserves. It boasts a complete variety of coal types and possesses high-quality coal resources for activated carbon production, which are rare globally. It is one of the most concentrated regions in China for coal resources used in activated carbon production. The internationally renowned Taixi anthracite from the Shitanjing and Ruqigou mining areas, as well as the high-quality coal from the Lingwu Coal Mine, are valuable raw materials for activated carbon production. These coals are characterized by low ash, low sulfur, low phosphorus, and high reactivity, making them the best raw materials in China for producing activated carbon with well-developed micropores and high adsorption performance.

The company covers an area of 9,730 square meters, with a building area of 2,200 square meters and total assets of 7 million RMB (excluding land). It currently employs 50 staff, including 10 technicians and 2 senior engineers. With two activated carbon production lines, the company produces 3,000–3,500 tons of high-grade coal-based activated carbon annually. The products are primarily used in the chemical industry as catalysts, for solvent recovery, decolorization, deodorization, and purification in the pharmaceutical and food industries, adsorption and desorption in automotive oil products, and urban environmental protection. The company's products are divided into five series: high-grade solvent recovery carbon, high bulk density activated carbon, ultra-low ash coal-based activated carbon, crushed carbon, and powdered carbon. Custom production is also available based on customer requirements.
