Main Uses

　　Organic synthesis intermediates:

　　Synthesis of heterocyclic compounds: such as imidazole, piperazine, etc., forming cyclic ring structures through condensation with dialdehydes or ketones;

　　Metal processing and electroplating:

　　As a chelating agent: used for the extraction and separation of metal ions (e.g., extracting copper and nickel from ores), or for stabilizing metal ions in electroplating solutions to improve coating uniformity;
