Shandong Shimizu Chemical Co., Ltd. is a Sino-Japanese joint venture established primarily by Japan Shimizu Sangyo Co., Ltd. and Weifang Tuoshi Chemical Co., Ltd. It is located in the specialized chemical industrial park—Shandong Changyi (Xiaying) Coastal Economic Development Zone. The company was constructed and put into operation in 2015. After the completion of the first phase of investment, it achieved a production capacity of over 10,000 tons of specialty chemicals.

Leveraging the strong foundation of Weifang Tuoshi Chemical Co., Ltd. in esterification, transesterification, distillation, and advanced polymerization technology, Shandong Shimizu has become the world's largest producer of dimethyl isophthalate, with an annual export capacity of 6,000 tons. Moreover, we are the only supplier in Asia with formal REACH registration for dimethyl isophthalate. Other major products include: allyl isophthalate, allyl phthalate, diallyl carbonate, and corresponding oligomers, among others, which are widely used in engineering polymers and insulating coating industries.

The company obtained ISO9001 series certification in 2015, along with relevant qualifications such as RoHS and REACH.
