Aluminum tube is a type of non-ferrous metal tube, referring to a hollow metal tubular material made from pure aluminum or aluminum alloy through extrusion processing along its entire longitudinal length.
Aluminum tubes are mainly divided into the following categories:
By shape: square tube, round tube, patterned tube, special-shaped tube, global aluminum tube.
By extrusion method: seamless aluminum tube and ordinary extruded tube
By precision: ordinary aluminum tube and precision aluminum tube, with precision aluminum tubes generally requiring further processing after extrusion, such as cold drawing, precision drawing, and rolling.

Characteristics
As a high-strength hard aluminum, it can be strengthened by heat treatment. It has medium plasticity in annealed, freshly quenched, and hot states, with good spot weldability. When using gas welding and argon arc welding, aluminum tubes tend to form intergranular cracks. The machinability of aluminum tubes is acceptable after quenching and cold working but poor in the annealed state. Corrosion resistance is not high, so anodizing, painting, or surface cladding with an aluminum layer is often used to improve corrosion resistance. It can also be used as a mold material.
