Application Requirements

Entity Qualification: Legally established legal entities or other organizations capable of assuming corresponding legal responsibilities.

Personnel Allocation: Possess technical and managerial staff matching the inspection and testing activities.

Venue Facilities: Have fixed working premises with an environment meeting testing requirements, along with necessary testing equipment and facilities.

Management System: Establish and effectively operate an independent, impartial, scientific, and credible management system.

Special Requirements: Comply with special requirements stipulated by laws, regulations, standards, or technical specifications.

Application Process

Submission of Application: Submit a written application and relevant materials to the qualification accreditation department.

Preliminary Review and Acceptance: The qualification accreditation department conducts a preliminary review of the application materials within 5 working days and decides whether to accept or reject the application.

Technical Evaluation: Within 45 working days after accepting the application, carry out document review and on-site evaluation. The evaluation time is not counted within the qualification accreditation period.

Certificate Issuance: The qualification accreditation department makes a decision on whether to grant approval within 20 working days after receiving the technical evaluation conclusion. If approved, the qualification accreditation certificate is issued within 10 working days.

Certificate Validity

The CMA qualification certificate is valid for 6 years. A renewal application must be submitted 3 months before the expiration date. Additionally, when key information such as the organization's name, address, or personnel changes, the local qualification accreditation department should be promptly notified to apply for modification procedures.
