Natural Gas Boiler SCR Denitrification Equipment

    The combustion of fuel in natural gas boilers produces a certain amount of nitrogen oxides (NOx), which have significant impacts on human health and the environment. Therefore, better treatment measures are required to reduce their emission concentrations. The natural gas boiler SCR denitrification equipment is a type of flue gas denitrification system used to reduce NOx emissions from natural gas boiler combustion to meet compliance standards.

     The natural gas boiler flue gas denitrification technology equipment works by chemically converting NOx into harmless substances such as nitrogen and water. Among the commonly used denitrification technologies, the denitrification processes that can be adopted for boiler denitrification equipment include: Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR), Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction (SNCR), and PNCR denitrification technology.

     For natural gas boiler SCR denitrification equipment, the SCR denitrification process involves injecting an ammonia solution into the flue gas, where it undergoes a series of chemical reactions with the NOx in the flue gas. The result of these reactions is the conversion of NOx into nitrogen and water. SCR denitrification processes are divided into high-temperature denitrification and medium-to-low temperature catalytic technologies. To improve the reaction efficiency of the denitrification reactor, a certain amount of catalyst, such as vanadium, molybdenum, or other metal catalysts, is added to the reactor. This can lower the denitrification reaction temperature to between 200°C and 400°C.
