The polyamine DDM product is a mixture containing approximately 75% 4,4'-diaminodiphenylmethane and about 25% polyphenyl polymethylene polyamine. It is a light yellow solid at room temperature and is mainly used to prepare curing agents for epoxy resins. The structural formula of its main component is:

During storage, the warehouse should be dry, ventilated, and避光 (light-proof). Overheating is strictly prohibited to prevent oxidation. During transportation, leakage, exposure to sunlight, and rain are strictly prohibited.

 

　　Shelf Life:

Under specified storage conditions, the shelf life is 6 months. If it exceeds the shelf life, it can still be used if it meets the technical specifications after inspection.

 

　　DDM Safety Precautions:

DDM has low toxicity in terms of respiratory inhalation and skin absorption. Its low volatility means that short-term exposure under normal conditions (e.g., minor leaks or spills) produces minimal harm. Nevertheless, as DDM is an aromatic amine compound, it still poses certain toxicity and can cause mild skin irritation and allergies. Handle with care to prevent direct contact with skin and splashing into eyes. Please wear necessary protective equipment (gloves, goggles, work clothes, etc.). If it splashes on the skin or into the eyes, rinse immediately with water, and wash the skin with soapy water.
