Product Application:

COPS-1 is an excellent performance copolymer stabilizer and reactive surfactant. It can be used in emulsion polymerization of acrylic acid, vinyl acetate, styrene, and other comonomers. At low dosages and when used in combination with traditional surfactants, it significantly improves the dissolution properties of the latex, enhances water and bleach resistance, reduces the tendency for agglomeration, and decreases adhesive loss on wet surfaces. Additionally, due to the hydroxyl and sulfonic acid groups in its molecular structure, COPS-1 can also serve as a resin modifier, a quality improver for chemical fiber products, and as a monomer for synthesizing corrosion and scale inhibitors in the water treatment industry.

Product Usage:

Dosage and Administration: In emulsion polymerization, it is recommended to use 0.5-1.0% (based on total weight), generally in combination with traditional anionic surfactants. Specific applications should be determined by the customer through testing.
