Analysis of the cutting principle reveals that the rotary cutting method significantly improves cutting efficiency. The rotary cutting method typically prefers using a rotating cutter head or rotating cutter drum as the core mechanism. The cutter head structure consists of a rotating cutter head driven by a driving mechanism and multiple fixed cutters mounted on the drum. Wood is fed laterally into the cutter head, and the installation gaps between the cutters form the cutting clearance. The cutter drum structure primarily comprises a rotating drum driven by a driving mechanism and multiple fixed cutters mounted on the drum. Perforations are made on the drum beside the cutters to allow wood chips to pass through. Wood is fed radially or into the inner cavity of the drum, and the cutters and perforations form the cutting clearance. However, the existing technical solutions have the following drawbacks: multiple cutters are fixed at certain angles on the cutter drum or cutter head, and the cutting clearance determines the thickness of the wood after cutting. When wood chips of different thicknesses need to be produced, the installation position of each cutter must be adjusted individually, which wastes significant time and greatly increases labor costs. Additionally, since the cutter drum or cutter head is installed inside the machine body, adjustments require disassembling the body. The limited internal space also complicates maintenance and operations. There is a need to provide a wood chipper that allows quick adjustment of the cutter's cutting angle and position, is easy to operate, has a simple structure, and offers strong practicality.
