It uses a diesel engine (or electric motor) - hydraulic pump unit as the power source, with hydraulic motors enabling functions such as rotation, propulsion, lifting, travel, and auxiliary actions like positioning with hydraulic cylinders.
During drilling operations, the JK590F rig only consumes compressed air through the DTH hammer. Compared to fully pneumatic drills, the required air compressor capacity is reduced by 30% to 50%. Energy consumption (fuel or electricity) during drilling is approximately 40% to 50% lower.
The JK590F rig is equipped with a wet dust suppression system as an upgrade from the JK590.
