Product Introduction
The MD-2 Coal Drill Cuttings Gas Desorption Instrument is used to measure the gas desorption indicators Δh2 and K1 values of coal drill cuttings to determine the risk of coal and gas outbursts in working faces. The principle of the instrument is as follows: without artificially degassing or re-gassing the coal sample underground, it utilizes the residual gas pressure (gas content) in the coal drill cuttings to release (desorb) gas into a sealed space. The volume and pressure changes of this space (expressed as the differential pressure of a water column gauge) are used to characterize the amount of gas desorbed from the coal sample. The main body is made of a single piece of plexiglass.
