MPC polymer fiber expansion agent is scientifically formulated from redispersible polymer, ternary expansion components, and high-strength crack-resistant fibers. This product features early strength, expansion, shrinkage compensation, and enhances the crack and seepage resistance of concrete.

Since the monofilament fibers in the polymer fiber expansion agent are uniformly distributed in large numbers per unit volume within the concrete, microcracks inevitably encounter fiber obstruction during development, consuming most of the energy. The four components—CaO, MgO, Al2O3, and SO3—form three different expansion sources. Their hydration rates vary, establishing early, mid, and late-stage micro-expansion forces during concrete formation, counteracting the shrinkage forces at different stages. This makes it difficult for cracks to further develop, thereby achieving crack resistance. In particular, the addition of fibers acts like micro-reinforcement in the concrete, creating a secondary reinforcement effect that allows the expansion components to function more fully. The superimposed effect makes the concrete denser and more stable, significantly reducing the cracking process and improving the fracture toughness of the concrete, which cannot be achieved solely by reinforcing steel bars.

The fibers form a three-dimensional network through random distribution in the concrete, while the expansion components compensate for shrinkage. The redispersible polymer acts as a bonding and hydrophobic agent. The synergistic and complementary effects of these three greatly reduce cracks, control harmful cracking, and give concrete renewed vitality.

Dosage

For dense waterproof concrete: 4-6% by weight of cementitious materials;

For shrinkage-compensating concrete: 6-8% by weight of cementitious materials;

For filling concrete: 10-12% by weight of cementitious materials;

For self-stressing concrete: 12-15% by weight of cementitious materials;

Usage Method

1. Accurately measure based on the recommended dosage and the volume of concrete per batch.

2. After preparing the sand and aggregate, add the polymer fiber expansion agent.

3. Add the aggregate along with the polymer fiber expansion agent into the mixer, then add water and mix.

4. The construction and curing process for concrete with the polymer fiber expansion agent is identical to that of ordinary concrete.

5. After pouring self-waterproofing concrete, avoid direct sunlight and promptly apply water ponding curing or cover with wet burlap. Maintain moist curing for no less than 14 days.

6. It is ready to use after thorough mixing. Whether at a concrete batching plant or on-site mixing, the process is very simple.
