The copper-inlaid gate is a type of gate that uses cast iron as the main structure and employs copper alloy sealing strips or rubber sealing surfaces to achieve water stoppage. It is widely used in water supply and drainage, flood control, and hydraulic engineering projects.
Structural Features
Main Material: Gray cast iron or ductile iron is used, offering high strength and wear resistance.
Sealing Design: The water-stop sealing surface is inlaid with copper strips or rubber, achieving planar contact sealing through precision machining, with a gap ≤0.1 mm. The sealing performance can be adjusted via a wedge block device.
Component Composition: Includes gate frame, gate plate, guide rails, sealing strips, drive screw, etc. The guide rail length is 1/2 to 1/3 of the full opening height of the gate to enhance stability.
Performance Parameters
Pressure-Bearing Capacity: Conventional design withstands 10 meters of water head in forward/bidirectional pressure. The non-rising stem type is suitable for concealed installation scenarios.
Operating Temperature: Adapts to environments from -20°C to 120°C, suitable for media such as sewage and seawater.
Water Seepage: Forward seepage ≤0.7 L/m·min, reverse seepage ≤1.25 L/m·min.
Application Scenarios
Primarily used in urban water supply and drainage, river cutoff, pump station inlet control, and other engineering projects. It is available in both concealed installation (non-rising stem type) and exposed installation (rising stem type) forms.
