1. Characteristics:
There are three types of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) rods. Rods with diameters of 4mm-9mm are made from dispersion-polymerized PTFE resin through paste extrusion processing; rods with diameters of 10mm-50mm are made from suspension-polymerized PTFE resin through extrusion processing; rods with diameters of 55mm-300mm are manufactured through molding processing. Among known plastics, PTFE has the best chemical corrosion resistance and dielectric properties, does not age, is non-stick, and can be used at temperatures ranging from -180°C to +260°C under no-load conditions. Among known solid materials, it has the lowest friction coefficient.
