The opening and closing part of the globe valve is a plug-shaped valve disc, with a sealing surface that is flat or conical. The valve disc moves linearly along the centerline of the valve seat. According to this movement pattern of the valve disc, the change in the valve seat port is proportional to the stroke of the valve disc. Since the opening or closing stroke of the valve stem of this type of valve is relatively short and it has a flexible shut-off function, and because the change in the valve seat port is proportional to the stroke of the valve disc, it is suitable for flow regulation. Therefore, this type of globe valve is suitable for shut-off, regulation, and throttling. The valve stem can be either non-rising stem or rising stem.

Product Features:

1. The structure of the globe valve is simpler than that of the gate valve, making it easier to maintain.

2. The sealing surface is not easily worn or scratched. During opening and closing, there is no relative sliding between the valve disc and the valve body sealing surface, resulting in less wear and a longer service life.

3. During opening and closing, the valve disc stroke is small, so the height of the globe valve is less than that of the gate valve, but the structural length is longer than that of the gate valve.

4. For the direction of medium flow, when the nominal pressure PN ≤ 16MPa, the flow is generally in the forward direction, with the medium flowing from below to above the valve disc; when the nominal pressure PN ≥ 20MPa, the flow is generally in the reverse direction, with the medium flowing from above to below the valve disc to enhance the sealing capability of the sealing components. When in use, the medium in the globe valve can only flow in one direction and cannot change the flow direction.

5. The axis of the valve stem of the globe valve is perpendicular to the sealing surface of the valve seat. The opening or closing stroke of the valve stem is relatively short, and it has a flexible shut-off action, making this valve suitable for shut-off, regulation, and throttling of the medium.
