Underwater damp environment specific interface adhesive is composed of modified epoxy resin, special curing agent, additives, etc., and is divided into two types: with filler and without filler. It has excellent comprehensive bonding performance, good toughness and fatigue resistance, and can be applied under wet, damp, and dry conditions. It is mainly used for connecting new and old concrete in load-bearing structures.

◆ Can effectively wet the adhered surface in water.

◆ Remains stable upon contact with water and is not damaged by water. ◆ Can cure under underwater conditions and is resistant to water immersion.

Scope of Application

◆ Interface bonding for critical reinforcement systems: Used to increase cross-sections, reinforce concrete, and during secondary concrete pouring to enhance the bonding strength between reinforcement materials and the base layer, preventing hollowing and detachment.

◆ Interface treatment for harsh environments: Bonding of new and old concrete interfaces in environments requiring long-term water immersion, chemical corrosion, and repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

◆ Special base layer treatment: Bonding, waterproofing, and moisture-proofing treatment for special base layers (such as oil-contaminated concrete, damp base layers, asphalt, metal, plastic, etc.).

◆ When used for bonding concrete above ground, excess moisture should be removed before application, and the concrete surface should be ground to remove laitance and gravel until the coarse aggregate is exposed.

◆ Weigh components A and B according to the recommended mixing ratio, stir until the color is uniform, and then apply to the surfaces of the new and old concrete.

◆ When used for bonding concrete completely underwater, divers should clean the concrete base underwater, prepare the adhesive on shore, and then dive underwater for application.

◆ Weight ratio: Component A : Component B = 2:1.
