The YJ-2102H Fully Automatic Plaster Softening Point Tester is designed according to the requirements of the 2020 edition of the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China, Part IV, General Rule 2102, for determining the softening point of plasters. It measures the temperature at which a plaster softens under specified heating conditions, specifically the temperature when the plaster descends by 25mm due to heating. This instrument is used to assess the maturity of plasters and indirectly reflect their viscosity. It is suitable for use by plaster manufacturers, drug testing institutes, and related organizations.

I. Main Technical Features

1. Utilizing technologies such as computer intelligent control, laser automatic detection, LCD touch screen human-machine interface, and lead screw stepper motor lifting, the instrument features linear heating, uniform bath liquid stirring, and automatic sample testing. It is a highly automated, fast, convenient, and accurate plaster softening point tester.

2. The instrument heats the solution medium and plaster via heating tubes, with a magnetic stirrer ensuring uniform temperature in the beaker. The controller uses an interpolation algorithm to control output, enabling the medium to heat linearly at a rate of 1.0-1.5°C per minute. During heating, the plaster in the test ring gradually softens. When the softening temperature is reached, the plaster in the sample ring slowly descends in the form of a droplet under the gravity of the steel ball. The average temperature at which the plaster in both sample rings contacts the lower baffle is recorded as the plaster softening point temperature.

3. The instrument mainly consists of a chassis support, touch screen human-machine interface, lead screw lifting system, heating and temperature regulation system, laser detection system, and magnetic stirring system.

4. To facilitate experimental operation and ensure stable lifting of components within the beaker, a test platform is designed. The test components are suspended and positioned on the test platform, which is driven by a lead screw to descend smoothly and accurately, ensuring the laser beam closely aligns with the upper side of the lower baffle.

5. The testing process features animated simulation display, touch operation, and a human-machine interactive interface for intuitive and convenient use.

6. Temperature control employs a slope interpolation algorithm for precise heating, program control, and real-time temperature regulation.

7. The separate magnetic stirring system uses stepless speed adjustment for more uniform temperature distribution.

8. Laser beam automatic detection judges sample descent with strong anti-interference capability and high sensitivity.
