Applications and Features

1. Improves the conductivity of coatings and reduces coating resistance to meet the requirements for electrostatic spraying.

2. Maintains coating film properties without affecting adhesion, yellowing resistance, or viscosity stability.

3. May shorten the pot life of two-component systems.

4. Effectively prevents static accumulation in dry coating films and avoids static generation upon surface contact.

Dosage

Recommended dosage is 0.1–1% based on the total formulation. The amount depends on the polarity of the system and the required resistance during application. If dilution with non-polar solvents such as xylene is needed, it should first be mixed with isobutanol to improve compatibility and effectiveness.

Precautions

1. HK-20 should be stored in sealed iron drums. Before use, ensure proper storage conditions: keep in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse, avoid direct sunlight, and keep away from heat and fire sources.

2. The shelf life of HK-20 is one year.
