Ethylene Propylene Rubber is copolymerized from ethylene and propylene. Its main chain lacks double bonds, giving it excellent heat resistance, aging resistance, resilience, insulation properties, stability, ozone resistance, and low-temperature performance. However, it cannot be vulcanized with sulfur. To address this, a small amount of a third component with double bonds is introduced into the main chain, allowing sulfur vulcanization, resulting in EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer). It resists polar solvents such as alcohols, ketones, glycols, and phosphate ester hydraulic oils.
Temperature Range: -55°C to 125°C, can reach up to 150°C with organic peroxide vulcanization.
