Uses:
1. Used as a monomer for silicone resins.
2. Methylchlorosilane is the main monomer for synthesizing organosilicon polymers. Dimethyldichlorosilane is used to produce silicone oils, silicone rubbers, and silicone resins; monomethyldichlorosilane is used to make fabric moisture-proof agents and other organic monomers; trimethylchlorosilane is used as a capping agent for silicone oils, and methyltrichlorosilane is used in silicone resins, among others. These products are widely used in moisture-proof electrical insulation materials, laminated products, coatings, lubricants, building materials, etc.
3. Silanizing agent, capping agent. Intermediate for the production of dimethyl silicone oils, silicone rubbers, and silicone resins.
