 The BZQ spherical crown fine bubble diffuser is a new type of aeration device developed by our unit based on the process characteristics of biological wastewater treatment, building upon the original diaphragm-type fine bubble aerator. The overall structure of the diffuser is scientifically designed, with advanced technology and innovative design. The fine bubble diffuser and its support tray feature a unique spherical crown structure. This diffuser offers excellent anti-clogging and anti-backflow performance. Under intermittent operating conditions, sludge is less likely to deposit on the aeration membrane surface, resulting in a longer service life compared to flat diaphragm fine bubble aerators, higher oxygen transfer efficiency, and suitability for biologically treating slightly polluted source water. Features: Excellent anti-clogging and anti-backflow performance. The spherical crown shape of the diffuser prevents sludge accumulation on its surface, even in complex wastewater conditions or intermittent operation. The membrane perforation technology is uniquely advanced, utilizing diagonal slits. Additionally, a special sealing ring at the top center effectively prevents water backflow. High tear resistance of the membrane. The spherical crown-shaped rubber membrane ensures uniform stress distribution during operation, reducing fatigue deformation, providing good resilience, resistance to tearing, and a long service life. Uniform air distribution, energy-saving, and high efficiency. The working surface area of the spherical crown diffuser is relatively larger than that of flat diffusers, producing fine bubbles, ensuring uniform air distribution, high oxygen transfer efficiency, and effective treatment. This characteristic is maintained even at low airflow rates, facilitating easy operation and management. Aging and corrosion resistance. The spherical crown aeration membrane is made of high-quality rubber, while the support tray and threaded connector are engineered plastics. These materials exhibit excellent physical and mechanical properties, with superior aging resistance and resistance to chemical corrosion from acids, alkalis, and other agents. Low pressure loss. Due to the unique anti-clogging and anti-backflow performance of the diffuser, the check valve required for flat fine bubble aerators is eliminated, reducing the resistance of the aerator and saving energy. Structure and Working Principle: The spherical crown fine bubble diffuser mainly consists of an aeration membrane, support tray, spiral壓蓋, and threaded connector. Simply sleeve the rubber membrane onto the support tray and tighten it with the spiral壓蓋. During installation, the support tray (with a G3/4" internal threaded air passage at the center) is mounted onto the threaded connector at the top of the air distribution pipe. When the spherical crown fine bubble diffuser operates, air enters the space between the aeration membrane and the support tray via the air passage from the air distribution pipe. Under air pressure, the membrane slightly bulges, opening the pores, and producing fine bubbles with a diameter <3mm in water. When air supply stops, the pressure between the membrane and the tray gradually decreases, and under water pressure and the membrane's own resilience, the pores gradually close, pressing the membrane tightly against the support tray. Technical Performance Parameters: Diffuser dimensions: 215×160mm; Applicable working air flow rate: 0.8-0.3m3/h per unit; Service area: 0.35-0.6m2 per unit; Oxygen utilization rate: 24-31% (can reach 40.7% at 6m water depth); Oxygen transfer capacity: 0.169-0.244kgO?/h; Oxygen transfer efficiency: 6.5-6.8 kgO?/kWh; Diffuser pressure loss: ≤3200Pa. Layout, Installation, and Commissioning: Spherical crown diffuser equipment can be supplied as a complete set, including accessories such as air distribution pipes, fittings, leveling regulators, cleaning devices, and connectors. The vertical layout dimension of the diffuser places its surface approximately 230mm above the tank bottom, with the center of the air distribution pipe about 110mm above the tank bottom, adjustable according to user requirements. The air distribution pipes should form a loop network to ensure uniform air distribution. Each group should have a valve for airflow regulation. Air velocity in the pipes is typically 10-15m/s in the main pipe and 4-5m/s in the branch pipes. During installation, first fix the regulators to the tank bottom with expansion bolts according to the design dimensions, then secure the air distribution pipes to the regulators with pipe clamps. After purging the air pipes, install the diffusers. Commissioning and Inspection Methods: After installation, fill the tank with clean water to a level of about 100-200mm above the diffuser surface. Then perform the following checks: During water filling, observe whether the diffuser elevations are level and adjust if necessary (the tank bottom should be level during construction, with a drain outlet provided). Check all pipe interfaces and seals for air leaks. At a standard airflow rate of 2m3/h per unit, verify that air distribution is uniform, with each diffuser's effective aeration area exceeding 80%.
