Description: The KMN electrode is developed based on the Philips KV3 electrode. It is a low-hydrogen type electrode with alloy steel core,
operated with DC reverse polarity and short arc. Preheating the workpiece to about 300°C before welding, and post-weld tempering at 720～750°C
is required.
Application: This electrode can be used for welding pearlitic heat-resistant steels such as KMN(15Cr2Mo1A) and 2.25 Cr1Mo
structures, including compressor impellers, turbine components, chemical synthesis machinery, and petroleum cracking equipment.
