Description: R717 is a low-hydrogen sodium-coated martensitic heat-resistant steel welding electrode. It uses DC reverse polarity and short arc
operation for all-position welding. Preheating and interpass temperature of the weldment should be controlled between 232–288°C, and post-weld
tempering treatment at 730–760°C is required.
Application: Used for welding heat-resistant steels such as ZG1Cr10MoVNbN in supercritical steam turbines and T91/P91 pipelines.
