Appearance: Colorless or light yellow liquid, slightly fuming
Product Usage: Hydrobromic acid is a basic raw material for the production of various inorganic bromides (such as NaBr, KBr, LiBr, CaBr?, etc.) and certain alkyl bromides (methyl bromide, ethyl bromide, propyl bromide, butyl bromide, etc.). In the pharmaceutical industry, it is used to synthesize sedatives and other medical products. Industrially, hydrobromic acid serves as an excellent solvent for certain metal minerals, a separation agent for alkoxy compounds, and a catalyst for the oxidation of alicyclic and chain hydrocarbons into ketones, acids, or peroxides. In the petroleum industry, it is used as an alkylation catalyst. Hydrobromic acid is also employed in the synthesis of dyes and fragrances. Additionally, it is used as an analytical reagent and a raw material for flame retardants.
