Main applications:
DOP is a general-purpose plasticizer primarily used in the processing of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resins. It is also applicable in the processing of high polymers such as chemical resins, acetate resins, ABS resins, and rubber. Additionally, it is used in paint manufacturing, dyes, dispersants, etc. DOP-plasticized PVC can be employed to produce artificial leather, agricultural films, packaging materials, cables, etc.

Industrially, it is the most widely used plasticizer. Except for cellulose acetate and polyvinyl acetate, it exhibits good compatibility with most synthetic resins and rubbers used industrially. It offers comprehensive performance, good mixing properties, high plasticizing efficiency, low volatility, excellent low-temperature flexibility, resistance to water extraction, high electrical properties, as well as good heat resistance and weather resistance.
In HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), it is used to test the filtration efficiency of high-efficiency filters.
