Dimethyl phthalate is a colorless, transparent oily liquid that is insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents. This product is a highly effective plasticizer with strong solvency, compatible with various cellulose, rubber, and other resins. It offers excellent film-forming properties, adhesion, and water resistance. It imparts good softness and tensile strength to products, and the finished products exhibit good cold resistance.

     Dimethyl phthalate can be used as a plasticizer solvent for PVC, rubber, cellulose resins, and vinyl resins. It is also used in cellulose acetate films, varnishes, cellophane, and molding powders. In cellulose acetate varnishes, it can be used up to 75%, resulting in soft and waterproof films. It can also be used as mosquito repellent oil, polyvinyl fluoride coatings, etc.
