Manufacture of thermosetting coatings, synthetic rubber, fabric treatment agents, etc. It is a monomer for producing solvent-based and emulsion-based acrylic adhesives, improving adhesion strength and stability. Used in the production of coatings, insulating materials, adhesives, and ion-exchange resins. Serves as an organic reagent and is an important raw material in organic chemical industry and an intermediate for polymers. Its most important derivative, organic glass, is used in aircraft and civil building windows, and can also be processed into buttons, sun filters, and automotive lamp lenses. The coatings produced have excellent suspension, rheological, and durability properties. The adhesives made can be used for bonding metals, leather, plastics, and construction materials. Methacrylic acid polymer emulsions are used as fabric finishing agents and antistatic agents. Additionally, methacrylic acid can be used as a raw material for synthetic rubber.
