I. Working Principle

The working principle of a plate heat exchanger involves the mutual flow of fluid between the plates, enabling heat exchange between the fluid on the plates and the external medium. Plate heat exchangers come in various types, including U-type, W-type, double U-type, and double-channel type. The U-type plate heat exchanger uses two parallel flat plate tubes as heat transfer units, facilitating heat exchange through the fluid between the plates. 1. When the heat exchanger is filled with clean water and the inlet water temperature is 25°C, the internal temperature of the heat exchange equipment is 25°C; 2. When the inlet water temperature drops to 20°C, the internal temperature of the heat exchanger decreases to 15°C. At this point, heat transfer due to the temperature difference causes the water entering the heat exchanger to exchange heat with the air inside the equipment; 3. When the inlet water temperature rises again to 25°C, the internal temperature of the heat exchanger increases to 30°C. Heat exchange then occurs through the fluid between the two plate tubes.

Do not rinse the plates with high-temperature hot water. 3. Since the plates are made of stainless steel, ensure the cleaning solution concentration is not too high during cleaning to avoid corrosion. 4. To prevent corrosion and perforation of the plates, conduct a hydrostatic test before installation at a pressure of 1.0 MPa. Only proceed with operation after passing the test. 5. Ensure a secure connection between the plates and the fixed support, and tighten all fasteners properly. 6. Clean the plate heat exchanger regularly, preferably once a month. If the water quality is poor or contains many impurities, which may affect cleaning efficiency, monthly cleaning is recommended.
