After the boiler thermal deaerator is supplied with steam for deoxygenation, a large amount of flash steam is discharged, which not only wastes energy but also impacts the environment. Our company has designed a complete set of exhaust steam recovery equipment for thermal deaerators, based on the jet-type mixing heater using water-jet steam extraction. Users can easily install it above the deaerator to recover flash steam in the form of hot water. I. Principle Utilizing the residual pressure of steam or water in the system as the driving force, the fluid is induced to flow via jet suction, while direct heat and mass exchange between water and exhaust steam occurs. This heats the low-temperature fluid, and in subsequent processes, the pressure of the heated fluid is restored before it re-enters the system to maintain continuous flow. The recovery unit is equipped with multiple Venturi suction-mixing devices, ensuring thorough mixing of water and steam after passing through the suction injector. The mixing temperature can be adjusted by regulating the water inflow. Due to the rapid mixing process and high flow velocity, conditions for scale formation are disrupted, minimizing the possibility of scale generation and adhesion. The mixed cooling water enters the gas-liquid separation tank, where the separated condensate can be transported over long distances to low-pressure deaerators or other water-using equipment, and the separated air is discharged after pressure reduction. The liquid level in the intermediate separation tank is automatically regulated. The system consists of three main components: a direct steam-water mixing shock heater; a gas-liquid separation tank; and a two-phase flow liquid level automatic regulator, with an optional automatic control cabinet.
