Standards Used for Inspection: The standards applied can be mandatory standards or implemented standards; they may be national standards, industry standards, local standards, or even enterprise standards or product technical specifications. Generally, supervisory spot checks often rely on national mandatory standards and some industry standards. Commissioned inspections, however, may use the aforementioned standards, enterprise standards, or, for certain newly developed products, "product technical conditions" for testing. For export-customized products, inspections may also be conducted based on the technical requirements specified in the contract.

Inspection Items: The inspection items for supervisory spot checks typically focus on aspects related to personal safety, hygiene, and issues that have garnered significant consumer complaints or correspond to major quality problems. In contrast, commissioned inspections involve enterprises selecting specific inspection items based on their product characteristics and entrusting inspection institutions to conduct the tests. This approach is more targeted but also has certain limitations.

Inspection Results: If the commissioned inspection does not cover all items, a general judgment of pass or fail is usually not made. The inspection report only presents the results of each individual test item.

The subsequent pages include detailed results for each individual test item. To facilitate clients' reading of the inspection report, the inspection institution lists the relevant technical requirements and standard values used as the basis for inspection, alongside the corresponding actual test results, making it easier for users to review in detail. The latter pages of the inspection report also include explanations regarding the subcontracting of certain inspection items.
