Handheld Fan PSE Testing Standard:  J55014-1(H27)

PSE certification (known as "Conformity Inspection" in Japan) is a mandatory market access system for electrical appliances in Japan, and it is an important requirement stipulated in the Japanese "Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Law". Currently, the Japanese government categorizes electrical appliances into "Specified Electrical Appliances and Materials" and "Non-Specified Electrical Appliances and Materials" according to the provisions of the Japanese "Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Law".

PSE certification is divided into Category A and Category B:

Category A: Specified electrical appliances and materials must be certified by a third-party certification body approved by the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. According to the DENAN Law, manufacturers are obligated to retain test results and certifications, and the label must bear the diamond-shaped PSE mark.

The diamond-shaped PSE mark indicates that the product is included in the "Specified Products" list and has been verified to comply with the diamond-shaped PSE standards (type testing, initial factory inspection, and anti-reconnaissance surveillance).

Category B: Other electrical appliances and materials must be certified by a third-party certification body approved by the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. According to the DENAN Law, manufacturers are obligated to retain test results and certifications, and the label must bear the circular PSE mark.

The circular PSE mark indicates that the product belongs to the "Non-Specified Products" list and has been verified to meet the circular PSE standards (only type testing is required).
