DT4 pure iron, also known as electromagnetic pure iron, electrical pure iron, and industrial pure iron, uses "DT4" as the material grade designation. The grade consists of the pinyin initials "D" and "T" (for "electric" and "iron"), followed by the sequence number "4", and symbols indicating magnetic properties (A for high-grade, E for premium-grade, C for super-grade). The old 1986 national standard included DT3 and DT3A grades, but these were removed in the updated GB/T 6983-2008 standard. The above data is from the new version.
