Measurement Principle
The chlorophyll sensor utilizes the characteristic that chlorophyll A has absorption and emission peaks in the spectrum. It emits monochromatic light of a specific wavelength into the water. Chlorophyll A in the water absorbs the energy of this monochromatic light and releases monochromatic light of another wavelength. The light intensity emitted by chlorophyll A is proportional to the content of chlorophyll A in the water.
