Product Overview

The TK-LW intelligent externally-mounted ultrasonic level gauge adopts a non-contact measurement method with sensors attached externally, achieving truly isolated measurement. It enables installation without drilling, hot work, or production shutdown. In addition to atmospheric storage tanks, it offers significant technical advantages for level measurement of various flammable, explosive, toxic, and highly corrosive media in high-pressure containers. It provides stable and reliable performance in large-scale storage tank applications, demonstrating superior technical benefits.

Measurement Principle

The TK-LW intelligent externally-mounted ultrasonic level gauge features a main probe attached to the bottom of the storage tank. Ultrasonic signals transmit through the tank wall upward along the medium, reflect off the liquid surface, and are detected as echo signals by the probe. Utilizing multiple proprietary intelligent echo signal processing algorithms, it achieves automatic calibration and compensation, ensuring stable tracking and detection of the liquid level for real-time high-precision measurement.

Typical Application Case:

At a fluoride chemical plant in Anhui, the customer’s SIS system initially used radar level gauges for measuring media such as heptafluoropropane and perfluorohexanone in tank farms. Due to the low dielectric constant of the media, the radar level gauges failed to measure accurately, severely compromising operational safety and causing significant困擾 to the customer.
