Computer hard drive sometimes makes clicking noises and crashes

      My computer has been in use for 6 years. This issue started occurring last year. Sometimes when too many applications are open, or even when only QQ is running, it freezes. I can hear the hard drive making clicking sounds, followed by a crash. Restarting doesn’t help. I opened it up, removed the memory stick, took out the battery, and fiddled around randomly.
