Chiller Usage and Maintenance
1. The chilled water should be clean, non-corrosive tap water, pure water, antifreeze, etc. Since the evaporator contains copper, corrosive water can damage it; impurities in the water can also harm the water pump.
2. After the unit has been running for a period, the condenser should be cleaned as needed.
Due to the typically long operating hours and high workload of industrial chillers, the condenser can accumulate dust quickly, affecting cooling efficiency and increasing energy consumption.
Use specialized air conditioner condenser fin cleaners (such as "Dichen") for cleaning, or rinse with clean water; keep the condenser clean and ensure unobstructed airflow.
3. Regularly check the parameters of the temperature controller (controller) to ensure they are within the manufacturer's set range.
Setting the water temperature too high or too low may exceed the chiller's designed operating range;
A small temperature difference or too short a delay may cause the compressor to start frequently.
4. If the unit is to be shut down for an extended period, first turn off the unit, then the main power, and drain all water from the system.
