Usage Recommendations      

• For shampoo: Castor Oil Maleate Esters are primarily used to replenish oils, improve lubrication during rinsing, and enhance wet combing performance. The recommended dosage in shampoo is 0.1-0.3%. It is easy to use—simply add to the formula below 50°C and mix uniformly.
• For body wash, facial cleanser, and other cleansing products: Castor Oil Maleate Esters provide a refreshing yet non-drying, oily yet non-greasy feel. The recommended dosage in body wash and facial cleanser is 0.2-2%. It can be directly added to the formula below 50°C and mixed uniformly. Alternatively, it can be pre-emulsified with a suitable amount of surfactant before being incorporated into the formula and mixed well. Additionally, when used in cleansing products, Castor Oil Maleate Esters can be combined with palmitic acid. This combination forms a ceramide-like lamellar bilayer structure, which provides long-lasting moisturization when applied in formulations. Similar to skin lipids, it enhances the skin's barrier function and reduces irritation and damage caused by surfactants and other chemicals in the formula.
