Characteristics and Efficacy
- Broad-spectrum bactericide
- Easy to use, highly water-soluble
- Formaldehyde-free preservative with low irritation
- SY-EPH is miscible with water and polar solvents, such as ethanol, propanol, propylene glycol, etc., in various systems
- Good stability within pH range (2~12) and temperature range
- Can be compounded with many bactericides such as SY-950, parabens, IPBC
- Recommended safe usage concentration is 0.06%~1.0%
Usage Recommendations
The recommended dosage of SY-EPH is 0.06%~1.0%.
SY-EPH preservative should be the last ingredient added to the formulation, preferably at a temperature ≤45°C. Due to the wide variation in ingredients and formulations of personal care products, which may affect the efficacy of the preservative, we strongly recommend verifying the efficacy and stability of SY-EPH before production.
