Product Overview

The CV81X Fire Silencing Check Valve, also known as a non-return valve, one-way valve, silent check valve, reverse flow valve, and back pressure valve, is a type of grooved valve that automatically opens and closes the valve disc based on the flow of the medium itself to prevent backflow of the medium. Check valves are a type of automatic valve primarily used to prevent medium backflow, reverse rotation of pumps and drive motors, and the release of container media. They can also be used in pipelines supplying auxiliary systems where pressure may exceed the system pressure.

The valve disc of the CV81X Grooved Silencing Check Valve is disc-shaped and rotates around the axis of the valve seat channel. Due to the streamlined internal channel, the flow resistance is lower than that of lift-type butterfly check valves, making it suitable for large-diameter applications with low flow rates and infrequent flow changes. However, it is not suitable for pulsating flow, and its sealing performance is inferior to that of lift-type check valves.
