Applications: As a cationic auxiliary agent, liquid cationic etherifying agent CTA can be widely used in the following fields:
(1) Paper industry: Mainly used as a liquid cationic etherifying agent, extensively applied in the modification of cellulose, fiber derivatives, and starch. It reacts with starch to produce cationic starch, which can serve as an internal sizing binder, paper strengthening agent, and aid for filler and fine fiber retention.
(2) Textile industry: Liquid cationic etherifying agent CTA reacts with cotton fibers to improve dye adhesion; it reacts with starch to produce cationic starch, which can be used as a warp sizing agent.
(3) Water treatment industry: Suspended particles in water are negatively charged. The cationic polymers generated by reaction with liquid cationic etherifying agent CTA are widely used as flocculants for water purification.
(4) Daily chemical industry: Cationic guar gum and other important daily chemicals are produced through reaction with liquid cationic etherifying agent CTA.
