Properties:
This product is a white or yellow waxy solid, odorless, soluble in water and ethanol, but insoluble in ethylene glycol.

Main Uses:
1. Primarily used as a suppository base, such as for indomethacin, progesterone, chlorhexidine, and others. It serves as an ointment base and emulsifier, enhancing drug decomposition and bioavailability, while giving the ointment a finer, whiter appearance and more uniform emulsification.
2. It can also be used as a matrix for drop pills. The dispersion system provides excellent drug dispersion, disintegration, and solubility.

Storage:
This product is non-toxic and not easily flammable. It should be transported as a general chemical and stored in a sealed, dry place.
