AS/AV Type Shredding Submersible Sewage Pump is based on the ordinary submersible sewage pump with an added shredding structure, using double mechanical seals and a rotating impeller to enhance its non-clogging and wear-resistant capabilities. It can shred and cut long fibers, bags, straps, grass, cloth strips, and other materials in sewage, then discharge them smoothly. Suitable for conveying liquids containing hard solids, fibrous materials, as well as dirty, sticky, and slippery liquids. It can also be equipped with automatic control and installation devices, making the AS/AV shredding submersible sewage pump combination more excellent and operation more efficient. Mainly used for discharging domestic wastewater, sewage, human waste, and media containing short fibers, paper scraps, wood chips, starch, sediment, ore particles, and other solid suspensions and non-corrosive substances.

Usage Conditions for AS Type Shredding Submersible Sewage Pump:

■ Medium temperature not exceeding 60°C, medium density 1.0～1.3×103 kg/m3, pH value within 5～9;

■ The motor part should not be exposed above water by more than 1/2;

■ Main parts are made of cast iron, so it cannot be used for pumping highly corrosive liquids.

AS Type Shredding Submersible Sewage Pump Usage Instructions:

Before starting the pump, a qualified electrician should inspect it and ensure the following electrical protection measures are in place:

1. Before operation, use a 0~500 megohmmeter to check the insulation resistance between phases and to ground; it should be greater than 2 MΩ.
2. The power supply should be normal. Voltage and frequency should meet specifications (voltage 380V±5%, frequency 50Hz±1%), and instantaneous voltage deviation should not exceed 10%. If the power source is far from the pump, increase the cable cross-section, minimize joints, and ensure waterproof sealing at cable connections to prevent leakage.
3. In a four-core cable, the wire with the "┴" symbol is the ground wire (usually green-yellow or black). For safety, it must be firmly grounded and should be 50mm longer than other wires.
4. Where conditions permit, electrical protection devices may include: ground fault protectors, ground leakage circuit breakers, etc. However, in all cases, slow-blow fuses matching the pump's rated current must be installed.
5. Electrical control devices should be moisture-proof and installed in dry areas. Ensure cables do not block the pump suction inlet.
6. Check the rotation direction. This should be done during initial startup or after reinstallation. Incorrect rotation reduces efficiency or may cause damage like impeller detachment. To check rotation, briefly run the pump before installation. Correct rotation is as follows; otherwise, swap any two phases in the controller:
a. Viewed from the top, the rotor turns clockwise;
b. Viewed from the bottom (suction direction), the blades turn counterclockwise.
Note: If multiple pumps are connected to one controller, check each individually.

Tip 1: Never use the cable to lift or suspend the pump.

Tip 2: To extend the pump's life, regularly add or replace the oil in the oil chamber (10# oil) to improve the mechanical seal's lifespan. After 4,000 hours of常規(guī) operation, disassemble and inspect the pump, replacing worn parts.
